The team of ‘Milaga’, a film by Ravi Maria, had a surprise guest at their dubbing studio last week. It’s Resul Pookutty, the Oscar award winning sound engineer.

When dubbing works for ‘Milaga’ were underway at the Four Frames Studio in Nungambakkam, Resul Pookutty walked into the suit with a smile, accompanied by the studio’s manager Kalyanam.

Awestruck by Pookutty’s entry, the crew members at the studio extended him a warm welcome. They also had a brief chat with the Academy award winner, who informed that he visited the place as he was about to start the recording works for ‘Endhiran’ there.

Says Ravi Maria, “we were happy to have a technician of international fame in our midst. He was so simple, humble and down to earth. We are doubly happy that he is going to work for Superstar’s ‘Endhiran’ at the place where we recorded for ‘Milaga’.
